New conditions for studying hit finding efficiency
Using Gerry Lynch’s recommendation, we’ve changed the layout so that for the Phi strips on the inner layers:
- the number of strips is reduced by half
- the pitch is increased from 50 mm to 100 mm
- the number of floating strips is increased by half
- the coupling is taken to be 0.47 (not 0.5 which was in the original design)
The noise is assumed to be 15% lower than nominal
