The Holiday Inn in Goleta is fine, but it is in a rather uninteresting
location. One place that has worked out well for people is the Best Western Beachside Inn, 336 West Cabrillo, 805-965-6556. It is in downtown Santa Barbara.

UCSB is very close to the airport. The Physics Department is in Broida Hall, and my office is
Broida 5112 on the 5th floor. My phone numbers are

Harry Nelson and Claudio Campagnari are also on the 5th floor.

Parking: when you enter the UCSB campus, you will need to stop at the kiosk to purchase a parking permit. The person there will direct you to the appropriate parking lots.
