Physics 115A is an introductory course on Quantum Mechanics for upper division undergraduates and graduate students. Use the links below to access the course syllabus, homework assignments and solutions when available. These are provided in three different formats for your convenience.

- A few more comments about the course: The first quarter is Quantum Mechanics in one dimension. We will cover chapters 1-8. Homework will be assigned each Tuesday and collected in one week.

- Feb. 20. The program "quantumwell" is now on the power MACs in the PLC. This program integrates the Sch. eqn. for any choice of Energy and illustrates the fact that the proper boundary condition at infinity can only be obtained for a special discrete set of energies. Try it as part of homework assignment #6.
- Mar. 5. A practice final exam is available here.
- Mar. 12. There will be a special office hour Monday March 17 1:30-3:00. The solutions for the final exam of last year will be available Thursday afternoon.
