Sunset
for Kelby Anderson
- Unnoticed, the waves have lost their liquidness
- And broken into planes of pastel light.
- The sky's daydream is ending, and the gulls
- Have left it long ago. A little later,
- The water melts to barely glinting slate
- As our wake fades smoothly into darkness,
- The sails no longer even luff, and at last are furled.
