homework 2 (due Friday Feb 1) has been posted 
on the website.  From now on (almost?) all 
homeworks will require you to write some code.

Instructions on how to turn in your homeworks
have been posted on the website.

PS from now on I will not announce the posting 
of the homework.  You can expect that there will 
be a homework due every Friday and that it will
be posted at least one week before the due date.
I will, however, announce via email any departure
from this schedule.

PPS you can also expect the solutions to be posted
shortly after the due date.
