Matthew Bahr, UC BerkeleyWe are actively looking for graduate students to work on both neutrino and dark matter experiments. Contact Ben if you are interested.
Undergraduates
We have projects for physics majors as well as for chemists, engineers, statisticians, computer scientists ... or people who want to be a little of each of the above. Please contact Ben if you are interested in doing undergraduate research with us. Current:- Kamal Singhrao is working on fabricating liquid-crystal cells which will eventually be used as TPC pixel amplifiers.
- Pitam Mitra is building a general-purpose low-pressure TPC as a testbed for dark-matter detector readouts.
- Max Wiedmann is studying surface treatments to mitigate alpha radioactivity on the inner surfaces of dark-matter detectors.
- Greg Courville is testing the electrical and vacuum behavior of our first Rear Wall prototypes.
- Tyler Huntley is building a solar-power system.
- Yu-Cian Hong
